The ideal format, especially for storing an A4 sheet folded in four. But the c6 envelopes are also suitable due to their sizes for brochures and other documents in A6 format, which due to the dimensions will avoid folding the content of your letter.
What is the weight limit of a C6 envelope?
The limit for a letter with a single stamp is 20g. The C6 envelope alone weighs 4.5 grams while a sheet of A4 paper weighs around 5.6 grams. With a C6 envelope, this gives you the possibility of putting 2 A4 sheets in your letter to send it with a single stamp. If you want to put 3 you will have to add a stamp, and so on. The maximum weight is 3kg and the thickness is 3cm maximum. As you can imagine, you will never go to these limits in a C6 envelope, but at least you know!
